The Carts or floats that have earned Bridgwater the
reputation of holding the largest illuminated event in the world
and built and constructed in the surrounding area by the members,
vp's and helpers of the carnival clubs.
The Association of Cart Fairies (FCC) are responsible
for the major part of construction within Cavaliers and entering
the cart each year would not be possible without them. Photo
Money is raised throughout the year by different fundraising
events to finance the materials needed.
All work on the cart is done voluntarily by the club,
and weeks of long evenings and very short nights ensure that come
the morning of Carnival a marvel of engineering and electrics emerges
from the shed. A credit to all those involved.
